BASIL 

Good for Mature, Alipidic and Sensitive Skin

Used for:  Insect repellant.  Great for muscular aches.


CHAMOMILE 

Good for Oily/Acne Skin
Calming, cooling and vaso constrictor
Used for:  Acne, burns, dermatitis, wounds, stings, bites and eczema.

CINNAMON BARK 

Warming, uplifting, increases circulation, aphrodisiac and restorative.

CORIANDER

Good for Normal, Sensitive, Oily and Mature Skin
Lightly cooling, bactericidal, fungicidal and antitoxic
Revitalizing to mature and damaged skin. May be helpful in reducing
pigmentation in the skin.  Use in moderation. 

EUCALYPTUS

Good for Acne
Warming, antiseptic, expectorant and stimulant.
Cleansing to blood and sinus passages, burns, wounds and acne.

FRANKINCENSE

Good for Alipidic and Mature Skin
Astringent, anti cancer and anti inflammatory.

GERANIUM

Good for Oily, Dry and Sensitive Skin
Normalizing, fungicidal and vaso constrictor.
Used for:  Dermatitis, eczema, rosacea and helpful for pale complexions.


LAVENDER

Good for all skin types
Normalizing, fungicidal and deodorant
Used for:  absesses, boils and burns.


LEMON 

Good for Alipidic, OilySkin and Mature
Stimulating, astringent, strengthens thin brittle hair and skin
Used for:  Improving HLF and regulating pH, strengthens connective tissue
fibers and increases Melanin formation.  May help facial spider veins

PEPPERMINT

Good for Acne and Sensitive Skin
Cooling, astringent and antiseptic
Used for:  Dermatitis, acne and reduces erythema

TEA TREE

Good for Oily and Acne Skin
Antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and antibiotic
Used for:  Helps with athlete's foot, sores and insect bites.

 

YLANG YLANG

Good for Alipidic and Seborrheic Skin
Sedative, euphoric, antidepressant, antiseptic and aphrodisiac
Used for:
 The treatment of stress and anxiety.

 

NOTE:  Except for Lavender and Tea Tree, essential oils must not be applied directly to the skin.  They should be blended with a carrier oil or water, when used as a mist.

CAUTION:  Some essential oils are dangerous for pregnant women prior to the 18th week of pregnancy.  Please inform yourself about which essential oils should be used with caution.  Always inform your esthetician about pregnancy.  If in doubt, don't!
